Eric Holt-Giménez the executive director of the Institute for Food and Development Policy (otherwise known as Food First), will be giving a guest lecture at UTSC this coming Tuesday, March 19. You are invited to attend. He will be discussing the Central America-based Campesino-a-Campesino (or Farmer-to-Farmer) movement, which promotes ago-ecological practices as a means of fomenting autonomous development and the democratization of food provisioning.
